About Our Cats
Welcome friends!
We have been overwhelmed with the amount of love and support that we have received in the last year, and we have been blessed to have made many new friends. Thank you so much for supporting us and our cats on this journey!

Skye’s Story
Skye is a Snowshoe/Ragdoll mix who was found in the middle of the road, shortly after being hit by a car. We quickly picked her up, and took her to the vet immediately. The vet told us that she would not make it, and that we should put her down.
We decided that we were not going to give up on her and that we would allow her to heal on her own. After one week of being absolutely immobile and still, Skye began to take her first steps. She did not know how to use the restroom or eat on her own. She was being fed from a tube.
Eventually, she began to walk on her own and began to engage in cat related behaviors. This made us so happy. We just knew that Skye was meant to be in our lives. Skye had become such a strong cat. She is now three years old and she loves being in solitude. She remains the alpha of the pack, and she enjoys her independence.
Chase’s Story
Chase is a tabby that was adopted from a litter of kittens that were found abandoned by their mother. He was known as the “runt” of the litter. He never enjoyed sleeping near his siblings and even till this day he prefers to sleep alone. Chase has been a very vocal and affectionate cat for as a long as we could remember. He loves attention, and he loves to be held like a baby! He especially loves it when we give him chin and belly rubs.
Chase was initially adopted so that he would become Skye’s companion. We travel a lot throughout the year, and we were worried that our oldest cat, Skye, would become too lonely. We brought Chase into her life, only to find that she did not like his need for attention. Chase tried to socialize and play with Skye, only to realize that he would only violate her space. Chase’s personality resembles that of a dog. He loves meeting new faces. Chase is now two years old and he is full of love.
Millie’s Story
Millie is a turtoiseshell cat that was rescued in honor of a previous cat that was in our lives. We had fostered a 10 year old cat that was found on the streets. His name was Snow and he was diagnosed with cancer. Shortly after we found him a home, we felt emotionally despaired, and so we decided to save another cat in his honor. That’s when Millie came into the picture, who soon became a foster. Millie was a three month old kitten at the time. She was brought into the shelter with an injury that seemed to have involved another animal. She lost one of her eyes as a result of the incident. She quickly recovered within two weeks of her surgery and we were able to foster her immediately.
After a few short months, Millie had become closer to finding a permanent home. Upon noticing Chase’s attachment to Millie, we knew that they could not be separated. Millie had become Chase’s companion. Millie is a little under one years old now, and she is full of energy. She loves to be held like a baby and enjoys receiving attention. She loves to dig in the trash can, and often fights for her food. However, Millie is still a little traumatized after her accident so she takes a little longer warming up to newer faces. She is the sweetest little girl who loves to be loved.
Snow’s Story
Snow was a British Shorthaired cat that was found in a neighborhood in Fountain Valley, CA. He lived on the streets for about 10 years before he was diagnosed with squamous cancer and FIV. He was well taken care of by the neighbors. He was fed and loved by many. However, his face contained many sores and it was clear that he needed to be taken into a vet. We spent over two days trying to capture Snow in a cage. After two long days, we were finally able to trap him and get him the treatment that he needed.
Thankfully, the TikTok community was able to come together in supporting Snow’s foundation. Together, we were able to raise over $6000 to help Snow receive the treatment that he needed. The community had built a strong connection to Snow’s story, and we were blessed to learn that so many people were willing to help. Unfortunately, after receiving the results of multiple tests and a biopsy, the doctor discovered that treatment would not be effective for Snow. The cancer had spread too quickly to the point that it was too late. The doctor insisted that we allow for Snow to live as long as possible before it was time to say goodbye.
Since he had FIV, the doctor recommended that Snow was put in an environment where he could strive and be happy under palliative care. Perhaps, an environment with other cats may have been too stressful. He was the most precious little angel. Even though he was ill, he still managed to ask for cuddles and pets.
He lived with us for about a month before we were able to find him a permanent home. We received a large amount of people interested in wanting to adopt him. He was loved by every person that had crossed his path. His adoptive family in Washington had taken excellent care of him. He lived the remaining three months of his life in a loving home where he found peace and happiness. It was suggested by his vet in WA that Snow would be put to sleep once his breathing had become compromised. He was the sweetest little boy. Even through the most difficult moments, he remained happy and outgoing. He had the most lovable personality. We miss him dearly but we know he is in a better place. RIP Angel.
